Jemma (Jem) Turner is a British web developer, who spends her days coding and fighting against the enemies of the Internet. OK, so maybe that's a slight exaggeration. Despite an increasingly popular misconception, Jem is in fact a girl who loves to code, not a male geek.
Some of you may have come across Jem, via her now (in)famous Pants Awards. This can very easily lead you into thinking that Jem is a big meanie, with way too much time on her hands. I'm not trying to mislead you into thinking that Jem is secretly a big softie, then again I'm sure her cat Hex might protest if he could type.
